Introduction
We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors to our home where we provide bed and breakfast in three double rooms. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please call us on 01298 872033 and we will endeavour to help.
Pre-Arrival
We are located at the top of Alma Road on the outskirts of Tideswell.
There is a bus stop 10 minutes walk away with frequent bus services to Buxton, Chesterfield and Sheffield.
There are local railway stations at Hope and Buxton, both approximately 15 minutes drive away.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
On arrival, there is an entrance gate leading to a level-surfaced parking area to the rear of the property with ample space for 6 cars.
We welcome guests at their cars, assist with their luggage and escort them into the house.
Main Entrance and Reception
The entrance is via the side door for which guests have a key. From the pebbled car parking area there is a one-inch rise onto a flagged step and a seven-inch step into the reception hall.
Public Areas – General (Internal)
All the floors on the ground floor are uncarpeted and even.
The guest dining room has a flagged floor and the lounge a wooden floor. Both rooms have a doorway width of 72cms.
Public Areas – WC
Guest bedrooms are en-suite but there is no ground floor toilet.
Dining Room
Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor.
Furniture is flexible and can be moved on request.
Tables have under space of 60cms. Chairs are without arms and can be moved.
We do not play background music in any public area of the B&B.
All diets, with prior arrangement, can be catered for.
First Floor
The first floor is accessed by short pile carpeted stairs. The dimensions of the steps are 20cm rise, 23cm tread and 84cm width. There are 6 steps leading to a half landing lit by natural light and a further 7 steps leading to the first-floor landing. There is a bannister to one side of the staircase.
There is no lift or stairlift to the first floor.
There is level access to all bedrooms.
All doors to bedrooms are standard-width fire doors.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms are on the first floor with secure lockable doors.
Televisions have remote controls and Teletext/subtitles.
All bedrooms have fully fitted short pile carpets.
All bedrooms have level access to an en-suite shower room.

Shower rooms have tiled walls and tiled floors.
There is a 5-inch step into all shower cubicles.
There are no grab rails fitted in the shower rooms.
Outdoor facilities
The Garden sitting area is accessed by one 2 inch step with a 17 inch flagged tread and one 6 inch step to the flagged path.
